Illegal Harassment
Illegal Harassment is an unlawful form of workplace harassment that occurs when an employee is treated improperly on the basis of his or her membership in a certain "protected group". An individual's membership in a specific race, sex, creed, religion, national origin, age, color, or disability condition is called a "protected group".
On similar lines "Hostile Work Environment" harassment is an improper treatment of individuals based on his or her race, sex, color, religion, national origin, or handicapping condition, which creates an unfavorable, offensive, or a belligerent work environment for the individual to work in.
